Privacy
The site collects as little as it can: an email address if you ask for session emails, and what you choose to send through its forms.
- Session emails
To get session emails you give an email address. You can also add a name, website, GitHub and Discord handles, and an affiliation. They are kept by the group’s sign-up service on Cloudflare and used only to send the readings and notes before sessions. They are not sold or shared.
- Leaving
Every email has a way out, and the unsubscribe page removes your address straight away.
- Discord notes
When someone new signs up, the group’s Discord channel gets a short note with the new total and no personal details. The “Offer a talk” and “Request advisory services” forms post what you write, including how to reach you, to that channel so the facilitators can reply. Nothing from those forms is stored on our side.
- Browsing
The site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or ads. Cloudflare, which hosts it, keeps standard server logs. To stop spam, the sign-up service counts requests from each network address for one hour, then forgets them.
- Sessions
Sessions are recorded, and recordings go in the archive.
